Brian grew up in Severn, MD. He and his wife have been together for 40years with two wonderful daughters, Lauren and Caitlyn.

Brian's Law Enforcement career began in 1986 with the Department of Defense in Fort Meade, Maryland. After four years, he joined the Anne Arundel County (MD) Police Department. In 1999, Brian and his family moved to Southwest Florida where he worked for 21 years with the City of Marco Island Police Department. He spent many years on the MIPD Marine Unit as a patrol officer, then as a Sergeant. He also worked as the Admin. Sgt and retired as a Patrol Sgt. He maintain a U.S.C.G. Captain's License.
